HOA Meeting Information
The next HOA meeting will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 6:00pm.
The meeting will be held at The Mason Public Library in the Parkhill Room. If you have an item to be added to the agenda and would like to attend the meeting, please
e-mail Eclipse.
Sidewalk Safety
Just a reminder that the height of any tree limb over a sidewalk within the HOA needs to be at least 8’ feet from the ground so that people can walk under it without getting hit. Also, it is very important that homeowners understand that they are responsible for all maintenance on sidewalks that touch their property. Please inspect your sidewalks for raised edges/cracks and make arrangements for repairs.
Homeowner Improvement Applications:
A reminder that any changes or updates to the appearance of your property, home, mailbox, landscaping must be submitted to the HOA Board for approval prior to beginning work. Please submit these through your Eclipse Portal using the Architectural Review Tab. Email FWCT@eclipsecommunities.com with any questions.
NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS AND GOOD DEEDS
The Pool is now closed.
The Free Little Library that was installed by a local Girl Scout Troop, which includes three girls living in the neighborhood, would like everyone to know that you are welcome to trade books in and out anytime. If you have any books you would like to donate to the library, please feel free to do so.
Social Events
Please join the Facebook page FCT Social and watch for emails to get all the latest social information!
If you would like to help plan social events for the neighborhood, please email the board.
If you would like to keep in touch with neighbors, ask for recommendations, or be aware of any activities going on in the area, you can join Facebook pages "Crooked Tree" (all surrounding communities) and "FCT Social" (only our HOA). These are not managed/sponsored by the board but are good sources to connect with other neighbors.
BRUSH AND LEAF COLLECTION
From ImagineMason.org.... Mason's Public Works Department provides free curbside brush chipping for property owners in the city. Crews visit each neighborhood once a month. Each week, they will target a different quadrant of the city. Please refer to the map or the street-by-street list to see when collection begins in your area.
To help the crews during brush pick-up:
-
By 7 a.m. on the Monday when collection starts on your street, please have branches and trimmings from bushes and trees at the curb.
-
Do not put brush in the street.
-
Stack brush as close to the curb as possible, with the cut end toward the curb.
-
Cut brush to a length between 4 and 12 feet.
-
Stack piles so that branches do not become entangled.
Sorry, but they are unable to take:
-
Tall grasses, leaves, vines, yard waste.
-
Branches and trunks more than 4 inches in diameter.
-
Root balls and stumps. Please cut these off any trunks and dispose of them in the trash. They must be 75 pounds or less.
-
Short branches and twigs. These are too small to safely put into the chipper.
-
Railroad ties, landscape timbers, lumber.
-
Brush in containers.
